Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat (100 Km)
It is the arrival day for your 14 days best Morocco tour from Casablanca. The day you have been counting down to!
Your driver/guide will meet you outside the terminal building in Casablanca Airport (CMN), your arrival time will really inform your plans. If you arrive in the morning we will be heading to Rabat perhaps. Or if you arrive later in the day, enjoy a night in Casablanca to catch your breath before we take it away with the sights ahead.

Day 2: Rabat – Chefchaouen (260 Km)
After Breakfast leave for a tour of a few hours of the capital city of Rabat where you will enjoy the highlights of this modern/ancient city including Mohammed V mausoleum, the Kasbah of Oudaya and Hassan II tower.
Then head up to the north into the Riff Mountains to Chefchaouen, known as: the blue pearl, blue city, or Chaouen. Walk through the blue streets seeing the merchants and their wares, happen upon an artist or a weaver and enjoy a cup of coffee and some people watching.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes (270 Km)
Spend the morning in Chefchaouen and enjoy the fresh mountain air, then travel to Volubilis. This is the site of Roman Ruins dating back centuries and surprisingly large. Here you will have a local guide to show you the site.
After that, drive to Meknes, one of the Imperial Cities and site of the beautiful Royal Palace and stables. Enjoy lunch in the Medina (try camel meat if you like!) and then off to Fes into the plains that cradle this ancient hub of culture.
Day 4: Fes
Today you will meet your local city guide and enjoy a full day tour of the Medina and surrounding area. Marvel at the carved brass gates at the Royal Palace, walk through the Jewish quarter, meander through the narrow busy streets of the Medina stopping for demonstrations of weavers, carpet knotting, brass hammering and tile and pottery making. Visit the famous Chouara tannery, a UNESCO site and famous for its natural dyeing methods dating back centuries. You will stop for lunch along the way and return to your Riad dazzled by the sights and sounds.
In the afternoon you will have free time to try a traditional Hammam & Spa, do some shopping or just relax at a rooftop cafe and take in the Moroccan air.
Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud (400 Km)
Today you will leave the city of Fes and the north of Morocco and travel south to Erfoud. You will notice an incredible change in landscape along the way, and by the end of the day, you can reflect on the vast difference between the north and the south of Morocco. First you will pass Ifrane, the 3rd cleanest city in the world, home of the best university in Morocco, Al Akhawayn, and city known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”.
Through the cedar forest and a national park keep your eyes open for a chance to see Barbary apes (Macaque) and Berber horses. You will pass by beautiful pastures and nomad houses that give way to increasingly high mountain peaks and deep valleys. You will come upon Midelt and its vast collection of fossils at lunch time and then continue on through the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Traveling along the Ziz Valley you will see the Tafilalt Oasis which is the largest palm grove in Morocco before heading into the flatter and stonier plaines leading up to the desert. Arrival to Erfoud in the late evening.
Day 6: Erfoud – Rissani – Khamlia – Merzouga (90 Km)
Leave Erfoud behind, the camels awaits you!
After breakfast we will drive to Rissani; known for its bustling traditional market and souks, which provide a glimpse into the daily life and commerce of the region. The market is particularly lively on market days, drawing traders and locals from the surrounding areas who come to buy and sell a variety of goods, including spices, textiles, crafts, etc.
After a stop for tea and a traditional concert of music in the village of Khamlia, you will ride the camels in Merzouga for an hour into the Sahara of Erg Chebbi dunes, where you will enjoy the evening at a Desert camp with dinner prepared for you by nomads.
Day 7: Merzouga Desert – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley (280 Km)
First you will want to watch the sunrise on this bright new day over the dunes of the Sahara Desert, before heading back to your vehicle for the start of your day.
The next stop is Erfoud (home to some of the world’s oldest fossils, but more importantly the date capital of Morocco, dates of all varieties), towards Tinejdad, and the landscape is still very dry. You will see mounds of the old irrigation system called “Khettarat”.
After lunch you will be heading up to the Todra Gorge, which is a trench of gigantic rock walls run through the High Atlas Mountains creating an absolutely magnificent sight. The Gorge is breathtaking and easy hike by foot with many places to stop for photos along its well-maintained track. In recent years, the Todra Gorge has attracted a lot of attention from serious climbers, the rock formations vary between 25 to 300 m. Once you arrive to the gorge, you will be eager to explore it!
Stay in the nearby Dades valley for the overnight and enjoy the traditional Berber lifestyle of the south.
Day 8: Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate (160 Km)
Travel through the southern villages and along a spectacular route called “The road of 1000 Kasbahs”, where there are literally thousands of Kasbahs, some in ruins and some still in use. Stopping at the Roses Valley, where roses are plucked each year on May and distilled to precious rose oil and other beauty products.
Visit Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Sahara” and the “Hollywood of Morocco”. Its unique desert landscapes, ancient Kasbahs, and stunning natural scenery have made it a popular choice for filmmakers. Films like “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Gladiator,” and TV series like “Game of Thrones” have been shot in and around Ouarzazate.
Visit the Cinema studios and explore Taourirte Kasbah alley ways up to the top and get a birds eye view of the surrounding area, before settling in for the night in the city.
Day 9: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas Mountains – Essaouira (350 Km)
Today after breakfast, visit the fascinating and beautiful Ait Benhaddou; a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the active home of 5 or 6 Berber families who still live in the Kasbah. This ancient fortified village, made of mudbrick structures, has been used as a backdrop in numerous films and TV shows. It offers a glimpse into traditional Moroccan architecture and is a must-visit destination for history and culture enthusiasts.
After that, you will head over the High Atlas Mountains. This is one of the most beautiful drives exist in Morocco. Up to the top of the highest pass at “Tizi n’ Tichka” at 2260 m and down the windy roads into the valley,
which rises on a colorful plateau between cultivated fields and small Berber countryside villages. The inhabited center is surrounded by high rocky walls, that let you glimpse the fortified walls of dwellings between the earth.
After lunch, the journey will be continued via the Atlantic Ocean into the city of Essaouira.
Day 10: Essaouira
Today enjoy a full day touring the Medina!
Explore the ramparts and learn about the amazing history of this inclusive and laid back little village, take some time to enjoy a pastry and coffee or do some shopping in the Medina and discover new shops with locally made products. Meet artists who make a life in Essaouria and listen to the musicians jamming in the square. Adore this quiet Medina filled with artists.
Tour the working fishing port and select lunch straight off the boat to be prepared on a nearby grill and walk for miles along the beach. Don’t miss the sunset, a big draw for locals and visitors alike.
Day 11: Essaouira – Marrakech (160Km)
After a morning at leisure, make your way to Marrakech through the famous Argan valley. Stop to photograph the famous spectacle of Berber goats climbing the Argan trees. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit one of the women’s cooperatives situated along the way. The cooperative produces cosmetic and cooking Argan oils.
Arrival into Marrakech, settle in to your Riad, and join the square of Jamea El Fna for dinner at one of the famous food stalls for some excellent, locally sourced traditional Moroccan food. View the chaos and activity, stroll the square after dinner and see what all the fuss is about. A truly remarkable and must-do evening!
Day 12: Marrakech
This morning after breakfast a local guide will meet you at your Riad for 1/2 day tour of the history and sights of Marrakech. Visit the Mellah (old Jewish quarter), the Saadian tombs, Bahia Palace, Madrasa Ben Youssef and the souks. Get an understanding of how Marrakech has grown over centuries and get a feel for the Medina, which is one of the most famous in the world.
Your guide will leave you in the square where you can enjoy lunch. In the afternoon choose from a number of things for your free time, whether an escape from the chaos of the city to the peaceful Gardens of Majorelle, a visit to the hammam or time spent shopping for last-minute items, your time in Marrakech will certainly be memorable!
Day 13: Marrakech – Casablanca (230Km)
After a morning at leisure, keep explore the hidden gems of the old Medina. After lunch make your way to Casablanca, where you will be visiting the famous Hassan II mosque; the second largest mosque after the Masjid Al-Haram in Mecca and the third tallest minaret in the world, which can hold almost 25,000 worshipers at one time.
This architectural masterpiece is a symbol of Islam, open to public and took seven years to complete, and considered as a masterpiece of Moroccan architectural design and craftsmanship.
Day 14: Airport Departure
You will be transferred to Casablanca Airport (CMN). Our driver will leave at any hour in order to help you get to the airport on time.
Keep in mind it is about 40 minutes from the city centre to the airport!
